The diamond-shaped display is extremely easy to read, with a smooth LED meter and a variety of display modes. The tuner features ultra-precise tuning with ±0.02 cents accuracy, an offset tuning mode that allows you to tune your instrument with harmonic resonance, and a true bypass design that does not affect tonal character in any way.
The VXT-1 is designed to meet the needs of professionals, with its long-term operation that allows for 24 hours of continuous use when used with alkaline batteries. The aluminum die-cast housing provides exceptional durability, and the DC output allows parallel connection to other pedals. Although there are many pedal tuners, this unit takes the lead and provides the best visibility and consistency in its class to all guitar and bass players.

This diamond-shaped display symbolizes VOX’s first stomp tuner. A large, easily visible note name display, combined with a smooth LED meter, makes pitch inconsistencies and pitch changes obvious at a glance. While the requirement to maintain ±0.02 cents accuracy when tuning string tension was difficult for previous LED meters (display mode: strobe), the diamond-display meter makes this possible.
The display mode can be switched between three types of display methods to suit the musician's style.
Strobe
This is designed on a strobe principle. Tune your instrument until the LED meter lighting stops flowing. The LED meter lighting rotates clockwise when the sound is high and counterclockwise when the sound is low. This is very consistent and allows for more precise tuning.
Diamond
Tune your instrument so that the angle above the LED meter lights up. When the sound is high, an LED to the right of center lights up, and when the sound is low, an LED to the left of center lights up. When the sound is correct, the blue LED for the top angle lights up.
Vertical
Tune the instrument so that the left and right angles of the LED meter are lit. When the sound is high, the LED above the center is lit, and when the sound is low, the LED below is lit. When the sound is right, the left and right angles of the LED are lit at the same time as the upper blue LED.

When the VXT-1's display mode is set to strobe, it provides ultra-high precision tuning with ±0.02 cent accuracy. This is a professional-grade pedal tuner that lets you eliminate even the slightest inaccuracies with extreme precision.
DC output allowing parallel connection
When using with a separately sold AC adapter, power can be supplied to another effect unit from the DC OUT. Since a special power supply circuit is provided for the DC OUT, a stable and noiseless 9V 200mA power supply can be provided.
True bypass has no effect on sound
The true bypass design (with the tuner off) allows the input sound to pass through without any effect on it, meaning the tuner circuit does not alter or distort the sound in any way. With the tuner on, the input sound is completely muted, making this unit ideal for onstage use.
