The triangle cymbal's real value is given to Franz Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 1. After the triangle cymbal was first used as a solo instrument in the 3rd movement of this work, the concerto was named "Triangle Instrument Concerto".

Apart from classical music, the triangle instrument , which is a percussion instrument, can be used in some folklore music, popular rock music groups, samba music, in schools, orchestras and in short wherever there is a rhythm group.
