Full-featured in a compact body. The long-awaited TM-70T tuner and metronome combination has arrived.

With its groundbreaking tuner and metronome combo concept, the TM series has a variety of features and outstanding visibility, and is the ultimate tuning and rhythm training tool for wind and string instruments.
The latest model, the TM-70T, takes the original concept even further, making it easier than ever to use. Not only is it small enough to fit in a pocket, it also features a new display for improved visibility and a new transpose function (F, Bb, Eb), making it the ideal partner for every musician. The metronome’s sound quality and output have also been improved to be easy to hear even in noisy environments.
The quality, speed and accuracy of tuning, which is essential for every performance, have also been improved.
The TM-70T is completely "Made in Japan," a testament to Korg's dedication to quality and pride as a leader in the tuner/metronome world for years.

More compact and easier to use TM-70T

Combining a tuner and metronome in one unit, the TM series is a tuner/metronome that combines the best technology Korg has developed over many years. The TM-70 is one size smaller than its predecessor, the TM-60, but features a larger display that shows note names and scales. The increased resolution of the LCD also makes it easier to view from a variety of angles, supporting stress-free, highly accurate tuning.

The tuning section detects the pitch of wind and string instruments quickly and accurately.

LCD dial meter with wide measuring range from C1 to C8 and good feedback

The wide measuring range from C1 (32.70Hz) to C8 (4186.01Hz) enables easy and accurate tuning of low-pitched instruments and acoustic instruments with many overtones that are difficult to detect, such as guitars and ukuleles. The CM-400 contact microphone (sold separately) can be used to transmit vibrations directly to the tuner for reliable tuning regardless of environmental conditions.

Using Korg's proprietary technology to accurately detect pitch without delay, the LCD cardan meter also lets you control the "wobble" that occurs on long tones in wind instruments, helping you develop stable, unwavering pronunciation.

Added transpose function that can be switched in F, B♭ and E♭

The transpose feature is useful for transposing instruments where the actual note played is different from the written note name. In addition to the usual C, it is now possible to switch between F, B♭ and E♭. This makes it possible for even beginners to play correctly by looking at the note.

Signs indicating pure major and minor third intervals

In an ensemble such as a marching band or orchestra, the harmonies of third intervals are easily perceived as out of tune, and can be made to sound better by slightly adjusting the pitch to pure major or minor thirds. The TM-70T's scale provides markings indicating pure major and minor thirds, and adjusting the needle so that it coincides with these markings* allows you to play in beautiful harmony with an ensemble. This is suitable not only for orchestral instruments, but also for vocal music or a cappella work.
*When tuning to a pure major or minor third, the specific note to tune depends on the music you are playing.

Audio Out mode outputs a reference tone

In addition to a meter for visual tuning, the TM-70T provides a "sound out" mode that lets you tune by ear, outputting a reference tone from its built-in speaker or through a pair of headphones. The reference tone can be selected from a three-octave range of C3 (130.81 Hz) to C6 (1046.50 Hz), and supports not only wind instruments but also a variety of other instruments.

Audio Feedback Mode produces a reference tone that is closest to the input sound

Audio Feedback Mode produces a reference tone that is as close to what you are playing as possible, while also displaying your input sound on the meter. This feature allows you to check the sound with both your eyes and ears, allowing you to tune more precisely, and is also ideal for ear training. Developing your ear is a particularly useful practice method for beginners.
*This feature is available when there is a connection to the INPUT jack or headphone jack (or both).

A useful metronome section for practicing a variety of styles

Easily adjust the tempo using three different methods

You can adjust the tempo using three different methods: "pendulum step" lets you increase or decrease the tempo value in the same way as the settings on a standard pendulum-type metronome; "full step" lets you specify the tempo in one-step increments ranging from 30–252, and "tap tempo" lets you specify the desired tempo by pressing the key in time with the song you're playing.

15 rhythm variations to practice various music genres

There are 15 different built-in rhythms*, including secondaries, thirdaries, middle-note rested thirdaries, fourths, and middle-note rested fourths, as well as a range of measures from 0 to 9, and the tempo can be freely specified within a range of 30 to 252 beats per minute. Complex rhythms such as middle-note rested thirds or fourths are used in a wide variety of styles, from classical to rock and jazz.
*When using the tune feature and the metronome feature at the same time, you cannot specify triplets, middle-note rested triplets, fourths, and middle-note rested fourths.

Made in Japanese quality

Tuning is the foundation of playing, and musicians should feel confident using our tuners and metronomes, which is why the TM-70T is built in Japan to ensure the highest possible quality control.
In 1975, Korg introduced the dial meter concept, the basis of modern tuners, and was one of the first companies to begin making compact tuners. Since then, Korg has developed a wide range of tuners and metronomes for use in any situation.
Incorporating all of Korg's tuning technology, expertise, and decades of experience, the TM-70T will be a fine partner for many years to come, supporting and enhancing your playing.
