With the SC208, you have a bass frequency range that goes down to 36Hz. This is achieved thanks to the 8" SilverCone driver in honeycomb form and the voice coil with a diameter of 1.5", creating bass frequencies that are tight, dynamic and created as a result of a more linear vibration.
The protective limiting circuit of the PWM amplifier ensures that the speaker will deliver 150W of efficient power for many years, while the maximum level of 112dB SPL at 1m distance allows you to make critical and sharp decisions about your mixes with ease.
The SC208 also uses the AMT (Air Motion Transformer) RS2 tweeter, a proprietary driver from EVE Audio, which features a large magnet system that enables it to reach higher sound levels.

Bass Port Design
It’s all in the geometry. One of the negative effects of port compression is bass distortion. As you turn up the volume, the efficiency of the port decreases and distortion increases. For our bass port designs, we chose a large rear rectangular port with no hard edges. This is one of the reasons why EVE monitors have high efficiency at low frequencies. The results? High sound pressures with tight, punchy bass frequencies without port distortion. Turn up the volume and EVE will give you the best bass.
