Roy Benson is produced by the German giant GEWA under the control of German musicians and engineers. Gewa was founded in 1925 by Georg Walther in Adorf, Germany. Famous musicians and musical instrument manufacturers lived in this region. Gewa products and services have developed their development process according to the special needs and priorities of their customers. Today, Gewa offers musical instruments produced not only in the export market but also in Asian factories.
Trumpet is a wind instrument consisting of a mouthpiece and a cylindrical tube folded over itself. It is a copper wind instrument belonging to the Aerophone class. Copper family instruments have 3 basic parts. Mouthpiece, tube, and bell, in today's piston-powered brasses the piston part is on the tube part. Also the part connecting the mouthpiece to the tube is called "Backbore" or mouthpiece pipe.
In the Baroque era, Bach and Heendel used the high-pitched parts of the trumpet. Trumpet players developed a technique called the “Clarino Technique” that they could reach until the 21st century. It took until the 19th century for the trumpet to take its current form. In 1826, two Germans named Bluhmel and Stölzel invented the “Piston or Chromatic Trumpet” by adding 3 pistons and pipes compatible with these pistons to a simple trumpet.
With this trumpet, it became possible to obtain all chromatic sounds, no different from today's trumpets.
