Whether you're a classic spring reverb fan, a studio rack enthusiast, or an ambient sound creator looking for new sonic textures, DAMP reverb offers three different reverb types that make everything musical and beautiful.
The plate reverb is inspired by the EMT 140, which uses a metal plate suspended from a steel frame, capable of recreating reverberations similar to those heard in an acoustic space; the famous studio reverb found on classical recordings.
Spring reverb simulates a mechanical disturbance propagating through a spring tank by creating a mechanical oscillation. For a "jumpy" tone, Spring reverb is a solid choice for adding a bottom-heavy dimension. Classic "surf" reverb; great for Rockabilly too!
Hall reverb is based on the legendary Lexicon 224, introduced in 1978. We've simplified the DECAY, LEVEL and TONE controls. It features the famously lush reverb tail that single-handedly defined the sound of an entire era. Wide-ranging reverb with warm decay.
DAMP reverb offers True-bypass and Buffer-bypass (Trails), just press and hold the footswitch to start the pedal (do not connect USB). The footswitch indicator will show you the bypass status. (When starting the pedal, if the FS indicator is flashing, “Green”=BF, “Red”=TB.)
