The MG-300MKII includes all the beloved effects from the MG-300, offering everything from rich overdrives and dynamic compressors to spacious reverbs and precise EQs. The MKII features a comprehensive effects family that includes 1 Noise Gate, 2 COMP, 13 OD/DIST, 1 Touch Wah, 2 EQ, 14MOD, 7 DLY, 5 RVB.

The MG-300MKII also includes a dedicated Patch Level (PL) block. You can place this anywhere in your effects routing and adjust the level from there.

What sets the MG-300MKII apart is the addition of the new Shimmer Reverb – an effect that's perfect for creating spacious, atmospheric soundscapes that add a whole new dimension to your music.

Unlock More Tones with Block Swap

In EDIT mode, you can change the CMP, EFX or RVB function by long-pressing the block, opening up endless creative possibilities to create your perfect tone.

CMP -> EFX

You can stack the dual OD/DIST effects for heavier distortion, or set one of the EFX to Boost to add more saturation to the overdrive.

EFX -> MOD

Combine the Octave effect with the Rotary effect to create a unique organ-like tone that's perfect for adding texture to your voice.

Amp modeling system

In 2010, NUX aimed to take Amp Modeling to a whole new level by introducing TSAC (True Simulation of Analog Circuit) technology. The DSP industry is evolving at a dizzying pace and keeping up can be quite challenging. We were impressed that a product like Fractal® AXE-FX had the foresight to use a high-definition TSAC (white box) algorithm for Amp Modeling. With this in mind, we started working on an affordable modeler with TSAC-HD.

The concept of "chaos creates the muse" applies perfectly to analog circuits. When you turn a knob, it affects not only itself, but also other parameters. In a linear digital system, the parameters are independent of each other. The white box algorithm provides true negative feedback and step-by-step gain. NUX TSAC-HD reproduces the playability that most guitarists prefer in a real tube amplifier.

It's easy to make a product with a sky-high price tag. The real art is to create an affordable product, and that's the real challenge. When pricing the MG-300, we designed it with a simple yet high-performance algorithm that is not only suitable for this particular DSP platform, but also dominates the multi-effects platform in general.

Jam Mode

NUX MG-300 MKII expands your musical creativity with its integrated Phrase Looper and versatile drum machine. Phrase Looper lets you effortlessly layer guitar lines, creating rich, textured sounds that are perfect for solo performances or songwriting. Featuring automatic tempo detection, the drum machine synchronizes its beat to match your playing speed, enhancing both practice sessions and live performances with seamless, harmonious rhythms.

Choose between STEREO (60 seconds) or MONO (120 seconds) looping to suit your needs.

Fully customizable Signal Blocks

It gives you unprecedented control over your signal chain by freely positioning effects and amp blocks in any order you want.

Adjustable Pedal

The MG-300 MKII offers a fully customizable footswitch layout, allowing you to personalize your footswitch configuration.

Preset Up and Down: Simplifies preset navigation by quickly switching between presets. Scene Up and Down: Provides layered audio changes by switching between three scenes within a preset. Scene Down and Preset Up: This hybrid setting lets you access different presets while also managing the scenes within them. You can also disable Scene 3 and simply A/B audio between Scene 1 (S1) and Scene 2 (S2).

MG-300 MKII also improves the expression pedal feature. Compared to the previous version, it now features a physical Toe Switch, offering greater convenience and a clear 'switching feel'. And 'expression pedal calibration' is no longer required.

Connect your MG-300 MKII to a computer via USB-C and it can work as an audio interface. You can choose which input routing setting you want to go to with Quicktone Desktop Editor Software. The MG-300 MKII streamlines your recording and streaming workflow with dedicated connection modes.
