The NanoKONTROL2 is a lightweight, portable control floor that includes "New track select" and "Marker Advance" parameters and supports a wide range of software including the most commonly used DAW programs.
It is designed to be used entirely with a laptop and has 8-channel controls that can be used to control music software. It has its own transport control section, and its buttons are specially designed to be easily used with software. It does not require complex settings as it includes many software, including popular DAW software.
Each of the eight channels has a knob, fader and three switches, which can be assigned to pan, volume and solo/mute/record. There's a "Marker" button for marking important points in the song.
It works with the "Korg Kontrol Editor", which can be downloaded for free from the Korg website. This software can be loaded onto a computer and used for custom setups. Since it is powered by USB, no power plug is required.
