The MV50 Brian May is a unique and inspiring guitar amplifier, the result of a collaboration between Vox and Queen's legendary guitarist Brian May, successfully transferring his iconic tone to the popular Vox MV50 tube amplifier and paired with the perfect cabinet.

With a total weight of less than 5 kg (11 lbs), guitarists can now enjoy Brian May's iconic stadium rock tone in a small and lightweight tube amp rig.
The MV50 was designed and developed in collaboration between Brian May, Vox and legendary guitarist Brian May.
Powered by Vox's Nutube technology, a revolutionary new vacuum tube that produces authentic tube tone at a much more powerful rate than its compact size, the MV50 Brian May is based on the MV50 circuit and AC30 tone, with the addition of a KAT (Knight Audio Technologies) switchable treble booster, allowing guitarists to capture Brian May's instantly recognizable tone.
Featuring a sleek control panel with gain, tone and volume controls, the MV50 also features an EQ switch that can be switched between flat (perfect for large cabinets) and deep (ideal for getting a deeper tone from even a small cabinet).
When combined with a compatible speaker cabinet, the MV50 produces 25w of output power into 8ohms, making a big impact despite its small size. The MV50 Brian May's headphone/line output also features speaker emulation, so you have the option of recording directly from the head amp without having to mic the cabinet.
With the head weighing just 540g (19oz) and the cabinet weighing 3.9kg (8.6lbs), this is one of the lightest tube setups available to guitarists – and certainly much lighter than Brian’s on-stage AC30 trio! You can truly take Brian’s iconic tone with you wherever you go.
