Horn: Horn is a wind instrument made of copper tubing, curved like a snail shell. It was passed into Turkish from the Italian word "corno", meaning "horn". The first examples made of horn in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome and Mesopotamia were used to give signals and guide hunters. Today, in some countries, shepherds and hunters in hunting still use horns for this purpose. The sound range and technical structure of the modern horn are the result of a series of developments and innovations since its first examples. Horns come in two types: Natural horns and modern valved horns. Valved horns also have double and triple types.
