ESP LTD James Hetfield Signature Vulture Olympic White Electric Guitar

As the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the world's most popular metal band, James Hetfield has had more of an impact on the metal world than any other guitarist. The Vulture is the latest in his ESP and LTD Signature Series guitars. Its distinctive V-shaped mahogany body is designed with hooks and bevels reminiscent of the Metallica logo. Built with a 24.75” scale set-neck construction, the LTD Vulture features a three-piece mahogany neck and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets. The fingerboard features dot markers and a special vulture inlay at the 12th fret. The LTD Vulture is equipped with James’ signature EMG JH Het Set active pickups. Designed to capture the clarity and punch of passive pickups, these pickups retain the legendary active tone that shaped a generation. The JH-N (neck pickup) features separate ceramic poles and coils for more attack, more output, and fuller low-end in the neck position, and has a larger core and higher build than the EMG 60. The JH-B (bridge pickup) uses the same core type, but with steel pole pieces instead of the bar magnets used by the EMG 81. This produces the familiar tight attack tone while maintaining a cleaner low-end with less inductance. Other professional features on the LTD Vulture include dedicated volume controls for each pickup, LTD locking tuners, and TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece.
