One of the most innovative and versatile guitars in the LTD Deluxe series, the EC-1000 Piezo is the first model to feature both standard pickups and a completely independent piezo pickup system. Piezo pickups create a sound unlike any typical pickup, delivering acoustic-like tones with excellent articulation. You can switch between Seymour Duncan '59 and JB pickups with the EC-1000 Piezo using a small switch under the guitar's pots, or combine both pickups. For this level of sonic flexibility, you can also use the dual jack outputs to connect the pickups to different amps or interfaces. The EC-1000 Piezo has a mahogany body with a great-looking quilted maple veneer.
