A LEGEND CAME BACK TO LIFE AFTER FORTY YEARS
When the ARP Odyssey was first produced by the American ARP Instruments company in 1972, its reputation spread rapidly among musicians. Its long-term production was discontinued in 1981 due to economic difficulties and the emergence of digital products, which made it so valuable because of its ease of use and portability.
Today, in 2015, KORG, drawing on the ideas and experience of ARP Instruments co-founder David Friend, is bringing the ARP Oyssey back to the music world, with a protective semi-hardcase and a shape that allows for the discovery of classic sounds as well as new ones, while remaining faithful to the original circuits.
